Course Objectives:

- Become comfortable working with the camera, both in front of and behind.

- Exhibit technical mastery of consumer level digital cameras and the Digital Single Lens Reflex (DSLR) camera.

- Apply skills in areas such as composition and color theory to the creation of photographic
work.

- Demonstrate the mastery of studio lighting.

- Demonstrate a basic knowledge of movements in the history of photography.

- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of image editing software (PhotoShop) to prepare images for optimal quality output.
